Our sky high Gula Melaka Banoffee Pie. A Valrhona cocoa crust, sumptuously covered with a layer of Valrhona Ganache, topped with huge sweet chunks of the best fragrant bananas we can find, generously coated with our housemade Salted Gula Melaka Caramel. Then a generous dollop of freshly whipped cream, with some Valrhona cocoa. Finally, another generous drizzle of Gula Melaka caramel and Valrhona ganache!

Note: Pie is 9" and serves up to 15 banoffee pie lovers. 

Please allow 3 days' advance notice for this order as we have to ensure we have stock of ripe bananas.

Storage/handling

This pie is best eaten fresh because fresh bananas and fresh cream deserve to be devoured as soon as possible. If that is not possible and if you wish to keep it for another day or two, please keep in an airtight container in the chiller.

Important Note: Fresh cream is extremely sensitive to heat! Please handle with care when transporting the cake and keep cake box upright in a cool air conditioned car away from direct sunlight. If travelling with cake for more than 1 hour, we recommend storing the cake box in a cooler bag and cooler packs (both sold separately) or cooler box with ice bag/cooler packs.

Packaging

The pie is packed in a standard white cardboard cake box. The cake box will soften in the chiller due to the moisture within.
