Valrhona & Cherries (Blackforest) Mousse

This is one of our bestsellers and a family favourite. The Valrhona Chocolate Blackforest Mousse cake is made of layers of Valrhona chiffon cake, brushed with cherry juice to keep it moist, with lots of cherries in two layers of Valrhona chocolate mousse, and finally smothered with a silken robe of smooth Valrhona ganache...creating a wonderful creamy combination of chocolatey and fruity flavours! We've recently upgraded this cake with more whole cherries inside and it's now even more scrumdiddlyumptious! 

Cake toppers and other garnishes are excluded. You may select from our list of garnishes, fruits or other decorations from our Add-Ons menu.

This is a handmade product, garnishes may differ and may be substituted according to availability.

Please allow 1 day's notice for this cake.

For non-standard 9" square size, please enquire the availability with our friendly staff.  


Cake should be kept in an airtight container in the chiller. Please note that although the cake can keep for 2 to 3 days, it may dry out in a chiller, and we therefore recommend consuming the cake on the day it is purchased. Fruits garnishes, if used, will dry out in the chiller.

Important Note: Mousse cake is extremely sensitive to heat! Please handle with care when transporting the cake and keep cake box upright in a cool air conditioned car away from direct sunlight. If travelling with cake for more than 1 hour, we recommend storing the cake box in a cooler bag and cooler packs (both sold separately) or cooler box with ice bag/cooler packs.


Cake is packed in a standard white cardboard cake box. Please note that the cake box may soften when placed in a chiller due to the moisture level within.
